Hi, I’m Tori—a photographer based in Rapid City, South Dakota. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually out exploring the Black Hills with my family and our two dogs—Skye, our loyal German Shepherd, and Molly, our tiny but feisty toy fox terrier. I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of the outdoors, and that love naturally spills into my photography. I’m inspired by nature, changing light, and the quiet little moments that often go unnoticed. Whether we’re on a trail or in your backyard, I love finding meaningful backdrops that make each session unique.

I’m a stay-at-home mom to two amazing kids, a busy toddler and a teenager who keeps me on my toes. Motherhood has taught me just how quickly time moves, and how important it is to capture the in-between moments that make this life so special. My own journey as a mom is what inspired me to pick up my camera more seriously. I understand how chaotic, beautiful, and fleeting family life can be. That understanding helps me create a relaxed space during sessions where kids can just be themselves and parents don’t feel pressure to be perfect.
Even though I’m relatively new to the professional photography world, I’ve spent the last few years pouring everything I’ve got into learning and growing. I’ve taken classes, studied the art of storytelling through images, and built my portfolio by focusing on the moments that matter—maternity, babies, kids, and families. My style is warm, natural, and candid. I don’t work out of a studio right now, but I’ve become really good at finding beautiful light and meaningful spaces—whether that’s a mountain view, a cozy living room, or a quiet field just before sunset. More than anything, I want your photos to feel like you.
